Terms of Service
Last updated: June 2026
1. Acceptance
By accessing or using BrainIt (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. The Service
BrainIt connects to your GitHub account, performs a mechanical scan of repositories you select, and generates documentation and related artifacts. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to scan any repository you submit.
3. Your content
You retain all rights to your code and to the documents BrainIt generates from it. You grant BrainIt a limited license to access and process your repository data only as needed to provide the Service.
4. Acceptable use
Do not use the Service to process content you are not authorized to access, to violate any law, or to attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the Service. Generated output is provided as-is and should be reviewed before use.
5. Third-party services
The Service relies on GitHub, Supabase, and Google Gemini. Your use of those services through BrainIt is also subject to their respective terms.
6. Disclaimer & liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, BrainIt is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service or reliance on generated output.
7. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
